The Texas Real Estate Commission announced on Apr. 10 that license holders can now update their business contact information and legal name directly through the REALM Portal.

This update is intended to help real estate professionals keep their records current with the commission, which is important for regulatory compliance and effective communication.

According to the commission, users should log in to their REALM Portal account and navigate to the Licenses tab. From there, they can select Amendment and choose Update Contact Info/Legal Name Change from the Type of Change Request dropdown menu. The next screen allows users to edit their name, business phone number, and email address by clicking Review and Remove. Physical addresses can be added or updated by clicking Actions.

The commission advises all users to review their information carefully before submitting any updates through the portal.

Keeping accurate contact details helps ensure that license holders receive timely notifications about regulatory changes or other important matters from the Texas Real Estate Commission.
