Registration is now open for the Texas Real Estate Commission’s (TREC) Legal Update I and II Instructor Training sessions. These in-person events are intended for instructors who plan to teach the 2026–2027 Legal Update I and II courses. The training sessions will be held in various cities across Texas.

According to TREC, completion of this updated training is required for instructors to remain eligible to teach these statutorily mandated courses. Only those who finish the training will be qualified to deliver Legal Update I and II content to TREC license holders.

“Visit registrations.trec.texas.gov to:

register for a session near you.
explore trainer bios.
view photos from past trainings.
get a feel for what to expect.”

TREC notes that space is limited and sessions often fill up quickly. Instructors planning to teach Legal Update I and II during the next renewal cycle are encouraged to register soon.
