The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has approved penalties totaling $373,498 against 13 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations. The fines cover a range of enforcement categories, including four air quality cases, one involving industrial hazardous waste, one municipal wastewater discharge case, two related to petroleum storage tanks, two public water systems violations, one waste disposal well issue, and two water quality cases.
Additionally, the TCEQ executive director approved penalties amounting to $128,597 against 32 entities on November 18.
