A newly constructed estate at 10010 Strait Lane in Dallas has entered the market with an asking price of $25 million. Built by Hadley & Bess, a family-owned luxury developer, this property is now the most expensive new home for sale in Dallas. Only six other homes across Texas are listed publicly at higher prices, according to Zillow.

Located in Old Preston Hollow and bordering Bachman Creek, the mansion features seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms across 16,600 square feet and three stories. The residence includes amenities such as a wine vault, golf simulator room, three-tier theater, loggia, pool, outdoor kitchen, and a garage with space for ten cars. The listing price is about $1,500 per square foot.

Listing agent Susie Thompson of Allie Beth Allman & Associates described Strait Lane as “Dallas’ most iconic street.” This area is sometimes referred to as Billionaire’s Row and is home to notable estates owned by individuals like Ross Perot, Tony Neugebauer, and Steven Ross.

Hadley & Bess was founded in 2011 by Abby and Stephen Simpton, who serve as CEO and COO respectively. Since its founding, the company has built or remodeled around a dozen homes and six commercial spaces. Abby Simpton noted that the purchase of the 2.2-acre lot was strategic: “Once the 2.2 acres went on the market for $3 million, we grabbed it up, because we knew that was going to be a really great deal for us.”

The company initially listed the home for $18.5 million while it was under construction in 2023.

In February, another spec mansion project by Layne Kelly Homes in Houston’s River Oaks neighborhood was listed at $25.5 million while still under construction. Other high-end speculative properties have also appeared recently on the Dallas market; among them is a Grupa Menta project nearby at 10920 Strait Lane with an asking price of $12 million.
