Sika Corporation is set to expand its manufacturing operations in Sealy, Texas, focusing on the production of PVC single-ply commercial roofing membranes. The project, recognized as a qualified initiative under the Texas Jobs, Energy, Technology, and Innovation (JETI) program, will involve an investment exceeding $90 million and is expected to create 60 jobs in Austin County.
The company will receive a Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant of $519,000 and a $7,000 Veteran Created Job Bonus. The TEF is designed to encourage businesses to establish or grow their presence in Texas by offering performance-based grants for projects that compete with out-of-state locations.

Sika’s investment aims to address rising demand for commercial roofing materials while positioning the company closer to major metropolitan areas across western and southern United States.
