Fort Worth’s first luxury condominium project has reached the public market, with a unit at Seven at Bowie House listed for just under $5.5 million. The development, located at 1217 Dorothy Lane in the city’s Cultural District, is part of the Bowie House, Auberge Resorts Collection hotel.

The listed condo spans about 2,700 square feet and includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is currently under construction. According to Douglas Elliman agent Hannah Sullivan, who represents the listing, the seven condos range from two to four bedrooms and have asking prices between $5.5 million and $6.4 million.

Entrepreneur and cutting horse champion Jo Ellard developed Bowie House after identifying a need for high-end lodging in Fort Worth due to her frequent visits for equestrian events. The hotel and condos are situated near Dickies Arena and Will Rogers Memorial Center—venues known for hosting rodeos and horse competitions—and are also next to River Crest Country Club.

“It’s really the only thing like that there,” Sullivan said. “We really don’t have any competitors.”

Bowie House’s condos represent not only a first for Fort Worth but are also among the earliest branded luxury condominiums in Texas. Other projects underway in Texas include Ritz-Carlton residences, another Auberge-branded development, a St. Regis tower—all in Houston—and Knox in Dallas.

While three units have already sold privately, this fourth residence is the first to be publicly listed, Sullivan said. Additional units remain under construction; two more listings are expected later this fall.

Fort Worth’s residential inventory has been increasing steadily in recent months, shifting away from a seller’s market; however, available inventory remains lower than average compared to Dallas or Texas as a whole.
