The developers behind Houston’s first Ritz-Carlton have appointed a sales team to bring the high-end residential project to market. Deiso Moss and Cleary Interests selected Karla Dupre, along with Redeavor Group, as exclusive sales representatives for The Ritz-Carlton Residences Houston, according to the developers and as reported by the Houston Business Journal.

Karla Dupre is co-founder of San Antonio-based Derive Development Group, though her firm is not involved in this particular project. She has over 20 years of experience in luxury high-rise real estate across Texas and internationally. Her previous work includes DC Partners’ Allen Residences in Houston, The Arts Residences in San Antonio, The W Austin, and The Omni in Fort Worth.

Redeavor Group will oversee broader sales and marketing efforts on behalf of Deiso Moss and Marriott’s Ritz-Carlton brand.

Deiso Moss announced its partnership with Marriott on September 10, marking Ritz-Carlton’s return to Houston after a 27-year absence. The new building at 2120 Post Oak Boulevard in the Galleria district is designed by Pickard Chilton with Ziegler Cooper as architect of record. It will be a 44-story tower expected to exceed 600 feet in height, featuring interiors by Rottet Studio based in Houston. The development will include 156 hotel rooms and 114 residences.

The project revives an earlier proposal from Deiso Moss for a mixed-use tower on the same site that had previously stalled after securing a $26.1 million bridge loan from Northwind Group in 2022.

Residences start at 2,200 square feet with views of the Galleria and Uptown areas. Amenities exclusive to residents include a private motor court, lobby, elevator bank, optional private garages, and access to an additional 50,000 square feet of hotel amenities through resident-only entry points.

This marks Ritz-Carlton’s only presence currently planned for Houston and its third location within Texas since it last operated locally at River Oaks until the late 1990s.

Elsewhere in Texas, Howard Hughes is developing another Ritz-Carlton-branded condominium project in The Woodlands. This property features two connected towers offering around 40 floor plans along with various amenities such as lounges, private dining areas, wine cellar, sports simulator room, lakefront fitness center, and more than 1,200 feet of shoreline reserved for owners.
