Ivy Geilker has been named Special Representative for the IAM Healthcare Department, according to an announcement by IAM Union International President Brian Bryant. The appointment took effect on September 1, 2025, and places Geilker under the leadership of IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett.

Geilker previously worked as an Associate Organizer with IAM Healthcare, where she led several organizing campaigns. These efforts resulted in pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff at companies such as CVS, Walgreens, and Safeway Pharmacy joining The Pharmacy Guild/IAM.

Before her time with IAM Healthcare, which began in February 2024, Geilker was Senior Lead Organizer at the Colorado State Employees’ Union. There she managed a team that represented workers across state hospitals, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, university campuses, and other settings.

“Ivy’s success in organizing pharmacists and technicians at major corporations has contributed to the IAM’s impressive growth in the healthcare industry,” said IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett. “Her tireless work to build The Pharmacy Guild/IAM has given a voice to hardworking professionals who provide care to our families and communities.”
