IAM Union leaders, including International President Brian Bryant and Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett, recently toured manufacturing facilities in Wisconsin to meet with members of Local 1947 at Mercury Marine and Local 873 at John Deere.

Local union officials organized tours for the IAM officers and staff. During these visits, Bryant noted the quality of work being done by union members at both sites. He said he was impressed by the skills demonstrated in producing Mercury Outboard engines and John Deere equipment.

Members from Mercury Marine spoke about their specialized roles in machining, pouring, and grinding processes, highlighting their pride in making products domestically.
