IAM Local SC 711 members employed by M1 Support Services and its subcontractors at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas have ratified a new three-year collective bargaining agreement. The contract, effective January 1, 2026, covers workers across 29 job classifications, including aircraft mechanics, avionics technicians, supply clerks, and librarians.
The agreement features an 11.4% compounded general wage increase over the contract’s duration: 4.5% in the first year, 3.5% in the second year, and 3% in the third year. Members will also receive increased paid leave with eight additional hours of sick leave for all employees, a five percent rise in 401(k) contributions, continued IAM pension benefits, and an extra $390 per month during the life of the contract. The company has agreed to cover increases in the rehabilitation plan.
Additional provisions include new on-call and standby pay measures as well as language protecting overtime pay.

IAM Local SC 711 became independent in 2016 after previously being part of an amalgamated local based more than 25 miles away; forming their own local was seen as a way to better represent specific needs while increasing meeting participation.
