The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has announced an extension for the registration deadline for its 2025 Retirees Conference. The event, scheduled to take place from October 20 to 22 at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront in Florida, will now accept registrations until Monday, September 15, 2025.

This year’s conference carries the theme “Leaders and Legends,” with a focus on recognizing retirees’ contributions and motivating members for future efforts. According to organizers, the gathering aims to strengthen community among current and future retirees from across North America, offering opportunities to share experiences and develop strategies to boost retiree involvement within the union.

“This gathering is more than just a conference; it is also a celebration of solidarity and strength. Retirees and future retirees from across North America will come together to build community, share experiences, and strategize on how to elevate retiree engagement within our union,” states IAM.

Attendees can expect guest speakers, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities with fellow IAM members. A tour of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center is planned as a highlight on Wednesday, October 22.

“The registration deadline for the conference and hotel has been extended to Monday, September 15, 2025,” according to IAM.

Further details about registration are available through official IAM channels.
