Today marks Giving Tuesday, an annual event encouraging charitable donations and community support following Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) is highlighting its preferred charity, Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC), which has launched its Holidays of Hope fundraiser.

The organization is calling for contributions to GDA | TLC, emphasizing that donations will assist military veterans with PTSD, individuals who are blind or visually impaired, and children with autism by providing them with service dogs. According to the IAM, these service animals offer recipients increased confidence, companionship, and hope.

“Each donation you make today will directly benefit a military veteran with PTSD, a person who is blind or visually impaired, or a child with autism who needs the life-changing confidence, love, and hope that a service dog provides,” states the organization.

Supporters are encouraged to participate in Giving Tuesday by making a donation to GDA | TLC.
