Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Cliff Bickerstaff and Erin Lunceford to two key boards that oversee the leasing of state-owned lands. Bickerstaff will continue his service on the Board for Lease of Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Lands, while Lunceford remains on the Board for Lease of Texas Department of Criminal Justice Lands. Both appointments are set to run through September 1, 2027.
The Boards for Lease are responsible for managing leases on land owned by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
Cliff Bickerstaff, based in Amarillo, is executive vice president at Amarillo National Bank. He is also involved with several local organizations, including serving as a member and former chair of the Amarillo Area Foundation, participating in the Texas Cattle Feeders Association’s Finance and Tax Committee, and sitting on the board of the Amarillo-Potter Events Venue District. According to his background, Bickerstaff holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Texas Tech University.
Erin Lunceford practices law through her mediation and arbitration firm Lunceford ADR, LLC in Houston. She previously served as Judge for Harris County’s 61st Judicial District Court. Her credentials include board certification in Personal Injury Trial Law and recognition as a Medical Malpractice Specialist by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. Lunceford has also held leadership roles with both the Houston Bar Association and the Houston chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. She earned her undergraduate degree from University of Colorado Boulder and her Juris Doctor from University of Houston.
