Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Brett Flagg to the Texas Mutual Insurance Company Board of Directors. Flagg’s new term will run until July 1, 2031. The Texas Mutual Insurance Company serves as a key provider of workers’ compensation insurance for employers in Texas, acting as an insurer of last resort and working to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.

Flagg, who lives in Frisco, is an attorney and owner of Flagg Law Group, PC, based in Dallas. He has been a member of the Texas Bar Association for four decades. In addition to his legal work, Flagg holds positions on several boards including e3 Partners Ministry, Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, and Insight for Living Ministries. He is also the former chair of the Board of Trustees at Trinity Christian Academy in Addison.

Flagg earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from Baylor University and completed a Master of Laws (LLM) at Georgetown University School of Law.
