Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Alicia Cantrell to the Family Practice Residency Advisory Committee, with her term set to run until August 29, 2028. The committee is responsible for reviewing applications related to the approval and funding of family practice residency training programs and associated support initiatives under the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

Alicia Cantrell, who is based in Houston, serves as chief operating officer of the Coalition Por For Texas. She studied at the University of Houston – Downtown.
