Governor Greg Abbott appointed Terry Zrubek to the State Employee Charitable Campaign Policy Committee for a term set to expire on September 1, 2027, according to a Mar. 20 announcement. Zrubek currently serves as deputy executive director of Texas Economic Development & Tourism within the Office of the Governor. His previous experience includes work in the private sector at Newell Rubbermaid Inc., as well as roles with the Texas Department of Public Safety, State Senator Steve Ogden, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Lower Colorado River Authority, and Governors Rick Perry and Greg Abbott. He also volunteers as a tennis coach for Thorndale High School and holds degrees from Texas State University and St. Edward’s University.
