This week, Governor Greg Abbott announced the appointment of several individuals to serve on behalf of Texans.

Martin Garza was appointed, and Faith Johnson and Sichan Siv were reappointed to the Texas Board of Criminal Justice. Their terms will expire on February 1, 2031. The board is responsible for the confinement, supervision, rehabilitation, and reintegration of convicted felons in Texas.

The Office of Texas Governor Greg Abbott has been recognized for contributing to job growth and record employment levels in the state, according to its official website. The office operates primarily from Austin at the State Insurance Building and provides services across Texas. Governor Abbott was elected in 2014 and has focused on economic opportunities, education enhancement, individual liberties protection, parental empowerment in schooling, and southern border security (source).
