The U.S. Census Bureau will host a webinar on Tuesday, January 20, at 1:30 p.m. ET to discuss updates to the methodology for the Vintage 2025 population estimates.

The Population Estimates Program (PEP) is responsible for producing official estimates of population and housing units for the Census Bureau. Each year, PEP creates a time series of estimates that begins with the most recent decennial census and continues through the vintage year, which is the latest year for which estimates are available.

The upcoming webinar will provide information about changes to how these estimates are calculated for the Vintage 2025 series.
